Born Nov. 28,1868 Died Dec. 6, 1913 in Elma Washington. On Monday morning Mrs Jennie Whiteman died at her home in the west part of town at 1301 Young Street of a complication and combination of diseases. Mrs Whiteman was a sister to Dan Young and she came to Elma with her husband and children only six weeks ago. She was about 45 years of age and she was born in the state of Kansas.
She lived in the central part of the state until she moved to Elma. One child lives in Kansas now an three other children including a three month old baby survives her in addition to her husband.
The funeral of Mrs Whiteman was held on Tuesday afternoon at the Baptist Church and internment was made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Jennie had two brothers, Dan and Jake Young. Jennie had one Great Grandmother Jane Young.
