Homegoing celebration: 2 p.m. Monday in Lucas Hurst Funeral Home Chapel, 1321 Precinct Line Road. The Rev. James Burgoyne will officiate. Featured harpist, Maia, will participate in the service. Interment: Following a committal service, Troy will be laid to rest in Bear Creek Cemetery in Euless. Visitation: was 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday; Troy will lie in state in the chapel one hour before service time on Monday.
Troy was employed in sales and marketing with Sterno Division of Colgate Palmolive Corporation and Kee and Associates.
Troy was affiliated with Gateway Church. He had been instrumental in assisting with starting several new church and home group ministries.
Troy was faithful to his Lord and Savior to provide for his family and loved them all. He was kind, generous and quick-witted and made an impression on every person he met. We take comfort in knowing he is with us forever.
Troy was preceded in death by his parents, Winston and Naomi Smith Kee; brother, Alvis Kee; and sister, Merla McDougal.
Survivors: He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Fay; his children, Vicki Phillips, Gay Julian and Jeff Kee along with their spouses, Michael Phillips, Richard Julian and Julia Kee; his grandchildren, Emily Julian Calland and husband, Jesse, Matthew Lee Phillips and wife, Stephanie, Valerie Phillips and Justice Lee Kee; his sisters, Kay Downing, Glenda Sue Levisay and Jan Davis; and many nieces and nephews.
