She was the daughter of Tom and Cora Ellington Blagg. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was affectionately known as Nana Pat. She enjoyed going to Kinta Senior Citizens and also enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball. Survivors include daughters, Donna Shoup and Georgia Franklin; sons, Wayne Patterson and Dewayne "Johnny" Patterson; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, George Patterson; her parents, Tom and Cora Blagg; one great grandson, Chase Patterson; three sisters and four brothers. Services will be Tuesday, March 31, 2009 with interment at Quinton Cemetery.
