He was the retired general manager of Colonial Country Club, former manager of Conneaut Lake Country Club and former acting manager of the West Shore Country Club.
He attended Pine Street Presbyterian Church and was a past president of the Central Pennsylvania Country Club Managers Association. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Hotel/Motel Hosts Association and a Mason.
Surviving are his wife, Melva C. Agnew; two sons, D. Wayne of Elizabethtown and John C. of Lancaster; a daughter, Eileen A. Kunkle of Harrisburg; a brother, W. Wyne of Valparaiso, Ind.; a sister, Margaret McGregor of Hammond, Ind.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Sieler Chapel at Pine Street Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Fred R. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Lower Paxton Twp.
Friends may call at the church parlor after 10 a.m. Friday.
