Brother of Charlotte Physician Passes Away at Van Wyck, S. C.--Twice Married and Survived by Wife and Several Children, Besides Mothers and Brothers.

Mr. Edward William Nisbet, of Van Wyck, S. C., a brother of Dr. W. O. Nisbet, of Charlotte, died at his home yesterday morning at 9 o'clock. He had been ill three weeks. With him during his illness were all his children, his wife, his mother, Mrs. M. J. Nisbet, and his three brothers. He was 49 years old.

Mr. Nisbet was born at the family homestead near Van Wyck, being a son of the late Dr. J. N. Nisbet. He was married twice, first to Miss Lula Taylor Lee, daughter of Talor Lee, of Providence. Of this union, the following children, all of Van Wyck, and all surviving, were born: Misses Laura May, Emma Lee, Evelyn, Louise, and Messrs. J. Edwin Nisbet and Taylor Phifer Nisbet. The second marriage was to Miss Ida Alexander, a daughter of Mr. John Alexander, of Mecklenburg county. There are two children by his second marriage, Athalie and John Newton Nisbet.

The brothers who survive are: Dr. J. D. Nisbet, of New York City; Dr. W. O. Nisbet, of Charlotte; Mr. J. M. Nisbet, of Van Wyck, S. C., and Dr. Verner Nisbet, of Johnson City, Tenn. Funeral arrangements had not been made yesterday.
