Amber Pollock, 91, of Azle, TX., died August 11, 1983 at a Fort Worth nursing home. She was born August 16, 1891, at Inman, Tennessee. She was a retired schoolteacher and held a Bachelor of Arts degree from Teas Wesleyan College, and a Master of Arts from North Texas State University. She was preceeded in death by a son, Lt. Cmdr. Lewis H. Pollock, a career Navy officer who died in 1957. At the time of her death she was survived by another son, Major Jimmie J. Pollock, U.S. Air Force (Ret.), of San Antonio; a daughter, Jane Hunt of Hurst; and five grandchildren.
