WENATCHEE - Ruth E. Abbott, 83, a resident of Wenatchee for the past 10 years, died early Wednesday morning, April 6, 1994, in the Colonial Vista Convalescent Center.
She was born Nov. 10, 1910, to Charles and Alice Clark in Cashmere, where she grew up and attended school.
She married Collins Abbott in 1943 in Waterville and they made their home in Cashmere. She moved to Wenatchee in 1984.
Mrs. Abbott worked in the family orchard for a number of years.
Survivors include one brother, Clarence Clark, Bellingham, and one sister, Minnie Clark, Wenatchee. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1959.
At her request, there are no services.
