Leavitt E. Bond
Leavitt E. Bond, 72, formerly of Windsor, died in St. Petersburg, Fla., Thursday. He was born in Windsor in 1880, son of the late Miner and Mary Baldwin Bond and had lived in Windsor for 62 years before moving to Florida 10 years ago, He was a member of Washington Lodge, 70, AR and Am, Eureka Chapter 56, OES. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Alice Hayden Bond of St. Petersburg, Fla., and a sister, Mrs. Hattie B. Harris of Windsor. The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the F. W. Carmon Funeral Home, 6 Poquonock Avenue, Windsor, with burial in Palisado Cemetery, Windsor. Friends may call today after 3 p.m. using the Prospect Street entrance.
