MRS. CHARLES M. PANTALL

Mrs. Mary Elsie (Mottern) Pantall, wife of Charles M. Pantall, of South Carolina, died in the Adrian hospital, Punxsutawney, at 8:10 p.m. on Dec. 3 after a year's illness. She was 46 years 4 months and 10 days olf and was born at Sprankle Mills. She is Survived by her husband, her father, George Mattern, of Sprankle Mills, and the following brothers and sister; Charles, of Sprankle Mills; Lloyd and Harry of Canada; Leonard, South Carolina; Joseph, of Vandergrift, and Minnie, of Kane.
She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Punxsutawney. Her home had been in the south for 27 years but she recently returned to her former home about a year ago because of poor health.
Funeral services were held Dec. 6 in St. John's Reform church in charge of Rev. R. A. Nelson, of Timblin, and interment was made in St. John's cemetery.
