Mr. Elmore was born near Alamo and has lived in this community all of his life.. He was a man of wide acquaintance and many friends, a conscientious member of the Christian church. Fifty-three years ago he was married to Mariah Bruner and to the union six sons and four daughters were born. Deceased is a brother of Mathias Elmore and a half brother of James B. Elmore, Mrs. Alice McMurtry, Mrs. Sarah Miller and Mrs. Nannie Gardner,The funeral services will be conducted Monday, there being a short service at the home and the public service at the Christian church at 1:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Henry.
