Harold was born 31 October 1898 in Maine at the Kittery Navy Yard the son of John Goodwin Tawresey (23 January 1862 Delaware) and Edith Haken (May 1873 Suffolk England) who were married in 1893 and was the husband of Hannah Sarah McCormick Tawresey who he married 25 May 1929.
