Betty Marie Phillips passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009.
Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Betty served in World War II as a first lieutenant in the Women's Army Corps as a nurse.
Survivors: Son, Edward Lee Phillips Jr. and Paula Moore; son, Albert S. Phillips and wife, Michelle; grandchildren, Andrew S. Phillips, Betty Marie Phillips, William Chance, Rachel Weiler, Sarah Weiler and Hannah Weiler; and great-grandchildren, Grant Engstrom and Natalie Phillips.
