Survivors include two sons, James M Beal of Maiden and Mark M Beal of Lincolnton; three daughters, Doris Beal Sisk, Edith Beal Robinson and Rachel Beal Hull of Lincolnton; four sisters, Alice Bone of Belmont, Ruth Canipe of Lincolnton, Peggie Risch of Owens, Ky., and Sylvia Burgess of Blowing Rock
