Mrs. S. M. Ruth Dies At Age 90
Mrs. Elizabeth "Lizzie" M. Ruth, 90, Salunga, and Rothsville, died today at 5:05 a.m. at Pleasant View Rest Home, Manheim, where she had been a guest for three months.
She had worked as a forelady at Brownstown Manufacturing Co. before her retirement.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Landisville, Patriotic Order of Americans, Adamstown; Golden Years Club of Salunga and Salnga Fire Co. auxiliary.
The widow of Samuel M. Ruth, she was born in Millport, the daughter of the late Elias G. and Lydia Kilhefner Fry.
She is survived by a son, Myron E. Ruth, Rothsville; a daughter, Priscilla, wife of Herbert L. Axe, Ephrata; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Heistand, Harrisburg.
