Mrs. Ella Grant died Wednesday afternoon at the home of her father, David Wright, in Paola, of cancer. Her disease was of a years duration and she patiently bore her sufferings to the end.
Mrs. Grant was forty-four years, three months, and six days old. She was born in Peoria County Illinois. She removed with her parents to Osage Township, this county, in 1873, where she married Henry Grant in 1883. After he married, she resided in Mound Township, until coming to Paola last January.
She was a kind and loving wife, and mother, and will be sadly missed by her children, of whom four survive her, one son, sixteen years age, and three daughters; the youngest six years of age. She also leaves her father, two sisters, and two brothers.
The funeral will be held from the Methodist Church in Beagle. Interment will be made in Beagle Cemetery.
