Fridolin J. "Stally" Stallbaumer, DDS, age 75 passed away at his home in Overland Park, KS, on February 26, 2002, after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born January 23, 1927, in Lillis, KS, to Leo and Cecilia Wilhelm Stallbaumer. He grew up in Andale, KS, attended St. Louis University, graduating in 1950 with a B.A. in Biology. He went to graduate school at the SLU School of Dentistry in 1955, and remained a active member of the Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity. He was a Navy veteran. He practiced general dentistry for 40 years, retiring in 1995. He was an active member of Queen of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church for 45 years and one of their first Eucharistic ministers.is s
Dr. Stallbaumer married Jan Bergin, June 21, 1952, at St. Louis, MO. She survives. He is also survived by six children, Susan Gustafson, Leawood, KS; Ann Abare, Tulsa, OK; Patrick Stallbaumer, Overland Park, KS; Ellen Hoffman, Seattle, WA; Jennifer Rouyer, Kansas City, KS; and Matthew Stallbaumer of Kansas City, KS; one brother, Melvin Stallbaumer, Wichita, KS; and 20 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Stallbaumer and two brothers, Roger Stallbaumer and William Stallbaumer.
Funeral services were held at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.
