Final rites for Mrs. Annie Lee Creech were held Sunday at 3 P.M. at the Macedonia Baptist Church, with the Rev. J. L. Jamerson officiating, assisted by the Rev. T. M. Underwood. Interment was in the Pelham Cemetery.
Mrs. Creech, who was 73 years of age, died Friday at the Howard Hospital. She had been ill for some time.
A native Georgian, she was born September 15, 1886. Her parents were the late Joe and Mary Butler Kierce. Her husband, Noah C. Creech survives.
Other survivors, two sons, Joe Benny Creech of Thomasville; Ellie Floyd Creech of Cairo. Her three daughters are Mrs. H. C. Dekle and Mrs. Oma Taylor of Pelham and Mrs. W. H. Dollar of Cairo.
Brothers surviving are Cephus Kierce of Pelham; A. C. Kierce of Tallahassee, Fla.; one sister survives, Mrs. Mamie Carter of Fort Pierce, Fla.
Pallbearers were Fred Bentley,Troy Bentley, Luther Creech, Walzo Davis, George Lawrence, and Richard Creech.
