Batty Maxine, the daughter of Bernice Irene Weller and Dewey Marion Zartman, had two brothers, Winsell Dewey and Jack M. She married Roger Yeider, 25 Apr 1945, Logansport, IN. They had no children.

She lived in Rochester, Fort Wayne and Coldwater, Mich., before moving to Woodburn. In 1963 she retired from Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, Fort Wayne, after 16 years of service. She was a 1944 Rochester High School graduate. She studied genealogy and worked at the Allen County Public Library Department of Genealogy.

Betty Maxine Zartman Yeider, Jan. 5, 1926 - June 27, 1996, Betty Maxine ZARTMAN YEIDER, 70, 22625 Main St., Woodburn, died at 5:04 p.m. Thursday at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, In. following an accident at Indiana 14 and 101 near Woodburn. She was born in Miami County to Dewey M. and Bernice I. Weller Zartman. On April 25, 1945 in Logansport, she married Roger D. Yeider Jr. who survives. She lived in Rochester, Fort Wayne and Coldwater, Mich., before moving to Woodburn. In 1963 she retired from Lincoln National Life Insurance Company, Fort Wayne, after 16 years of service. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Rochester, and a 1944 Rochester High School graduate. She studied genealogy and worked at the Allen County Public Library Department of Genealogy.
Surviving with her husband are nieces and nephews. Preceding in death were two bothers, Winsell Zartman and Jack Zartman. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster and Good Funeral Home with the Revs. Robert N. Story and Maury Brenneman officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester IOOF Cemetery. Friends man call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday and one hour before services Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association or to the visually impaired.
