Sarah's maiden name is Sarah Ellen Comer. She was born Feb. 7, 1837 in Scott County, Indiana and died December 8, 1924 in Barren County, Kentucky. Her parents are Isaac & Martha(Richey)Comer.
She and Alonzo married October 31, 1861.
She was shot and wounded by her son-in-law, Robert Lincoln Brown the same night he shot and killed her husband, Alonzo.
