Amanda K. Shriver, wife of Robert C Shriver" died at her home on Hanover street, Thursday, from diabetes, aged about 60 years. Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Harvey Starner, of Gettysburg; Mrs. Benjamin Bowers, of Harney, Md.; two brothers, Samuel Heyser, of Littlestown, and Benjamin Hyser. of Taneytown, Md.; two step-children, Eugene Shriver and Mrs. Albert Weikert, of Gettysburg R. D. She was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church and services were from the church on Sunday afternoon by Rev. J. B. Baker, her pastor. Interment in the Evergreen Cemetery.
