Wilbur L Sagerser died Tuesday at a local nursing home after residing in Colorado Springs for 54 years.
Mr Sagerser was born September 20, 1880 in Orangeville, Indiana and moved to Colorado Springs in 1901 at which time he purchased the G K Grocery. From 1915 til 1940 he worked as a miner in the Pikeville mine.
Survivors include his widow, the former Anna Peoples; a daughter, Mrs Grace E Sheldon of Colorado Springs, a son Donald A Sagerser of San Bernita Texas, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
The Rev Victor Woerz will officiate at the funeral, the time and date of which will be announced earlier. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
