Harry Richardson, Limon, Colo., was in a "very serious" condition at Beth-El hospital this morning from injuries received in an automobile accident five mile west of Calhan late Thursday night in which three other persons were injured.
Hospital attendants said Richardson was suffering from broken ribs, a possible punctured lung and fractured skull, and a fractured arm and nose.
Others injured in the accident were Margaret Richardson, 16, lacerations; Miss Helen Mohan, Limon, cut and bruised. Miss Mohan was also in Beth-El hospital, but her condition was good.
The party was returning to Limon after attending the funeral of Richardson's father, Frank Richardson, here Thursday.
The accident occurred when the car driven by Richardson collided with a truck in a blinding snow storm.
The Ambulance Service company was called to the scene of the accident but met with a mishap near Peyton when the ambulance skidded off the road. The injured persons were brought to the hospital by Deputy Sheriff M. J. Vasseur and Dr. George Chandler of Calhan.
