Born Sept. 22, 1929, beloved husband of Faye Colvis (nee Ford) for 47 years; dear father of Joe Colvis of Hot Springs, AR., Larry Colvis and Rozanne Acup of Ellisville; dear grandfather of Autumn (Josh) Osburg, Ashley Colvis and Tim Acup of Ellisville, and Arthur Colvis of Hot Springs, AR.; dear great-grandfather of Zoe Osburg; dear brother of Vern (Sue) Colvis, Pat Lowery, Mary Hill, Judy Beumer, Carol (Mike) Milne and the late Arthur Colvis and Gloria Hill; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. Donald was a retiree of McDonnell-Douglas and also was a veteran of the Korean War. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. The family is very grateful to the ICU staff at St. John's Mercy Hospital.
