Omeago worked over 35 years in the medical field as a nurse. She took early retirement to care for her husband and an older sister who were seriously ill. She was the most caring person you could ever meet, devoting her enormous energy into helping others.
She is survived by a younger sister, Aliomae Wall of Mannsville, Okla.; a son, Charles Worthy of Miamiburg, Ohio; two daughters, Carolyn Canning of Mantecca, Calif. and Peggy Worthy of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wesley Worthy; a daughter, Anne Sarah Lue Adame and a son, James Wesley Worthy Jr.
She was a devoted member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Porterville, Calif., and will be remembered by all the people that her life touched and helped throughout the years.
She will be dearly missed!
Her final resting place will be in Lone Cedar Cemetery in Mannsville at a later date.
