Jo Anne F. Carson, 74, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at Providence Hospital in Medford, Ore.She was born Dec. 28, 1934, to Howard Roush and Frances Duncan, in Fresno, Calif. She was a housewife, poet, writer, artist, and worked with stone and clay sculpture. She enjoyed horses, swimming, music, tennis, dogs, cats, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jo Anne is survived by her husband, Eugene J. Carson; children, Deborah L. Carson, Douglas E. Carson, Monica L. Needham, and Duncan J. Carson; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. No services are planned. Contributions may be made to St. Labre Indian School, Ashland, Mont.
