Frank D. Beeney, 60, of 210 South Emporia, Haven, died Oct. 1, 1997, at his home.

He was born Nov. 11, 1936, at Jetmore, the son of Charls L. and Anna Marie Grissom Beeney. A Haven resident for two years, moving from Burrton, he was a heavy equipment operator and pipeliner.

He belonged to the Operating Engineers Local 101, Wichita for 42 years and was a former member of the Kanss Western Horsemen's Associatio.

On May 14, 1956, he married Jan Myers at Hutchinson. She survives.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Rose Schroeder, Haven and Frankie Collins, Dallas, Ga.; two sisters, Hazel Eden, Campo, Colo., and Betty True, Buhler; and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Johnson & Sons Memorial Chapel, Hutchinson. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Laurel Cemetery, Haven.
