Bobbie passed away while in Lubbock for the funeral of his brother, Roy. He had a heart attack the night before the funeral and was not able to attend. He died several days later.

Bobbie Glenn Kimbrell of Colorado Springs, Colo., departed this life on April 13, 2008, at the age of 70 years. He was born on Jan. 13, 1938 to Luther Roy and Hattie Mae (Young) Kimbrell in Sudan, Texas. Bobbie attended Colorado Springs High School. After graduation, he joined the military. Bobbie married Terue Kose in 1964 in Japan. Mr. Kimbrell was a member of the United States Navy and served in the Vietnam War.

Those left to cherish his memory are one daughter, Emiko Kimbrell Adsuara in Spanaway, Wash.; one son-in-law, Rodney Adsuara; three grandchildren, Reiko M. Adsuara, Mailee C.C. Adsuara, and Akemi L. Aviles; five great-grandchildren, Taushae M. Crenshaw, Ghionna Perraca, Aryonna Perraca, Julionna Aviles, and Amarious Aviles; one brother, Jerry Kimbrell and wife, Helen, of Shallowater.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Terue Kimbrell; both parents, Luther Roy and Hattie Mae Kimbrell; and one brother, Roy Kimbrell.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care of White Funeral Home of Lubbock.
