Marion H. Coon, 90 of Homosassa, Florida died on Monday, March 23, 2009. She was born on July 24, 1918, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin,to Glen and Helen (Burkart) Tobey. She was a homemaker and moved from Michigan to Crystal River in 1979. She has resided in Homasassa since 1998.
She enjoyed playing bingo, luncheons and going to the casinos.
Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Coon, by her sister, Lois Borland and her brother, Carl Tobey.
Survivors include her sons, Raymond Coon and wife Susan of Homosassa, Florida and Dennis Coon and wife Allayne, sailing aboard their home, the 'Audrey Paige'; sister, Janet Osterander of Surprise, Arizona; 4 Grandchildren, 5 Step Grandchildren and Numerous Nephews and Nieces.
Visitation will take place at Fero Funeral Home on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 PM. Graveside services will follow on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Fero Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
