ORA BEDELL: HOMEMAKER

Ora Gertrude Bedell, 94, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 17,1981 in the Valley View Manor in Craig. Until her move to Moffat County she had been a resident of Steamboat Springs.

Bom in Weldon, lowa on April 4,1887, she was the daughter of William and Ella Worden Priest. She was a member of the Christian Church.

She married William Bedell in North Platte. Neb. on July 8, 1903.

She leaves two sons, Charles Bedell of Cove, Ark. and Earl Bedell of Craig; two daughters, Pearl Lucksinger of Lander, Wyo. and Leila Stehle of Craig; one sister, Gladys Gilmore of Hemet. Calif.; 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her husband, one son Orval Bedell, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Services, conducted by Daniel Bedell, were held in the Root Mortuary Chapel on Monday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. Interment was in the Steamboat Springs Cemetery.

Henry Zehner, accompanied on the organ by Ayliffe Zehner. sang Beautiful Isle of Somewhere and Beyond the Sunset.

Pallbearers included Denton, Bob, Dick, Ivan and David Bedell, Orval Bedell Jr. and Bill Lucksinger.
