Kearns - Funeral services for Ernest Melvin Andrus, 41, 4774 W. 4835 South, Kearns, who died April 24, 1971, in Riverside, Calif., of injuries suffered in a race car accident, will be Thursday, 2 p.m. Kearns North Stake Center, 4660 W. 5015 South. Friends call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m., 4330 S. Redwood Rd., and Thursday at the chapel 12:30-2 p.m. Burial, Redwood Memorial Estates.
Born Nov. 25, 1929, Salt Lake City, to Charles Melvin (Mel) and Bessie Norris Andrus. Married Barbara Moore, Feb. 6, 1946, Farmington. Owner-manager Valley Furnace and Manufacturing Company; member LDS church; race-track driver.
