Karin died at a very early age in Bishop Hill, IL Her father Lars Soderquist was one of the Settlers of Bishop Hill. Karin married Jonas Pherson Lindblom Elblom 1860 in Bishop Hill, IL they had one known daughter Olive June Elblom 1862-1941. Karin died when Olive was about 1 1/2 years old. That would have been close to when a horrible plague went through the Colony. Her head stone was broken, and held together with wire. The Old Settlers of Bishop Hill have repaired the Stone. Thank you.
Note: The picture of Catherine Elblom head stone on the top, is the latest, the headstone was damaged again and Judi Paustian McDowell a FAG volunteer found it laying on the ground and notified me. I will again try and have it repaired.
