Funeral services for Mr. Ennis William Clark will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Lake Cove Baptist Church with Reverend James Monk officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Turkey Creek Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Mr. Clark, 82, of Channelview, Texas, entered eternal rest on Sunday, March 22, 2009 in San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, Baytown, Texas.

Ennis was a loving father and grandfather. He was a native of Lake Cove, Louisiana who enjoyed Cajun music and attending the Clark Family Reunions.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil Clark and J. W. Clark and one sister, Irma Messer.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of sixty-three years, Lillie Bell Clark of Channelview, Texas; one son, Donald C1ark and his wife, Beverly of Channelview, Texas; three daughters, Linda Dorman and her husband, Joe of Channelview, Texas, Vinetta Prince and her husband, Phillip of Clayton, Oklahoma and Pam Merritt and her husband, Sam of Channelview, Texas; three sisters, Agnes Causey of Turkey Creek, Muriel Thrasher of Turkey Creek and Judy Hamilton of Longview, Texas; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Friends may call at Lake Cove Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until time of services on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 10:30 a.m.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Terry Thrasher, Jason Clark, Brent Dorman, Milton Clark, Greg Clark and Kevin Clark.
