HARDY - Rites for Gayle Francis Gunn, 51, of Hardy, will be conducted Friday morning June 30, 1972 at 10'clock in the Union Church at Hardy. The Rev Peter Trucano will officiate. Burial will be in the Hardy cemetery. The Montgomery-Williams Funeral Home of Superior is in charge.
Gunn died Tuesday June 27, 1972 at the Republic County Hospital in Belleville, Kansas. He was a native of Edgar. He was employed by the Farmer's Coop in Hardy and farmed in Nuckolls and Thayer counties and in Republic County, Kansas. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Union church.
Besides his widow, Arlyne, he is survived by a son, Gary of Chester; a daughter, Mrs Roger Eitzmann, Sidney, Iowa; two granddaughters; his parents, Mr and Mrs Truman Gunn; a sister, Mrs William Corman; and a brother Keith.
