Mrs. Badger was born to Frank and Gladys McCallister Romney. She graduated from BYU in 1948 with Honors. She taught school in Cokeville, Wyoming; Fillmore, Utah; and Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Billie Burton Badger in the Salt Lake City Temple on June 6, 1950. He preceded in 1998. Also preceding her in death were two sons, Michael and Stephen. A member of the LDS Church, she served as Relief Society president, counselor, secretary and teacher. She also served as ward librarian, counselor in the Young Women presidency, teacher in Sunday School and Primary, drama director and dance director. She sang with the singing mothers and Millard Stake Chorus. She served a full-time mission in the Family History Mission, and part-time missionary in the Member Locator division of the membership department of the church. Mrs. Badger was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and was president of a school teachers sorority, Alpha Delta Cappa. She is survived by her sons, Robert, David; daughter-in-law, Diane Badger; brothers, Frank Romney and Lowell Romney; sisters, Gladys Loveless, Cecil Keller, Emmy Lou Blair, and Marilyn Neilson. She is also survived by sister-in-law, Marilyn Sorenson, mother-in-law, Lila Badger, 22 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Mrs. Badger died at her home.
