Alva Jeannette Savattone was born to the union of Battista "Bob" Savattone and Rosa Frances Vozza. Her siblings were Mary Rafaela, Joseph John, and Mary Katherine. Alva graduated from the Glendale High School in 1956. On May 22, 1969, Alva married the love of her life, Jerry Gilmore. After Jerry retired, they moved to Show Low, Arizona where they were living at the time of "Toni's" passing. "Toni" is survived by her husband, Jerry, daughter, Marcella Hill and husband, John of Fullerton, Ca.; a son, Steve Gilmore and wife, Patty of Peoria, Arizona; a sister, Katherine Carlson of Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Joseph John, and sister Mary Rafaela.

She was the granddaughter of Fernando Vozza and Rafaela Palermo Vozza and great granddaughter of Josephine Mozzetta Vozza.

"Toni" will be fondly remembered by all who knew her as a loving and caring person who enjoyed life and a good laugh.
