Ex-Resident, James Harmon Is Dead

James Raymond Harmon, former Scottsbluff resident, died Saturday in Ansley where he had lived since 1949.
Born in North Carolina, Mr. Harmon lived there and in Tennessee before moving to Custer county, Nebraska, in 1914.
In 1928 he and his wife, Elizabeth, came to Scotts Bluff county and remained until they moved to Ansley.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Emma Jones of Glendale, Calif.; seven sons, Clynard of Morrill, Clyde of Scottsbluff, Ernest of Omaha, Oral of Thedford and Morris, Conley and Clinton of O'Neill; a brother and two sisters, 27 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Services were held in Ansley with burial there.
