Frederick A. Bollin was born near Nauvoo, ILL., August 4, 1867, died near McAlister, New Mexico, June 18, 1915, age 47 years ten months and fourteen days.
He came to Missouri in the fall of 1873, where he resided until 8 years ago, when he went to New Mexico and took up a homestead, and has resided there ever since.
He leaves to mourn his loss two brothers, William A. and Joseph C., and five sisters, Hattie H. Adwell, Nora A. Vance, Mary J. Smith, Sadie A.
Vance and Sylvia B. McCrery. All reside near Ravenwood, except Mrs. J. R. Vance, Mary J. Smith and Mrs. S. A. Vance.
The cause of Mr. Bollins death was due to typhoid fever, supposed to have been caused by a rupture being kicked in the stomach by a mule some time during the past winter.
The body arrived at Conception Jct.,Saturday night accompanied by Wm. Vance, and from there was taken to the old home place three miles south of Ravenwood.
Funeral sevices were held at the residence, Sunday, conducted by Rev.L. R. Sparks.
Interment was made in Oak Lawn cementery.
