RULE, Oct. 9--(Spl)--Funeral services ere to be held at the First Baptist church here Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock for Oscar Moore, 45, who died in the Haskell County Hospital Friday morning at 1 o'clock. The services will be conducted by the Rev. C. A. Powell. Gauntt's Funeral Home will be in charge of burial which will be in Rule cemetery.
Mr. Moore died from a crushed skull he received late Thursday afternoon while pulling pipes from a windmill on the C. O. Davis' farm where he had lived the past two years. A rope broke causing an iron pulley to hit him on the head. He was given first aid treatment at a doctor's office here before being taken to the hospital.
He is survived by his wife and three sons. They are Pvt. Alvin Moore of Camp Hood; James Moore of Hillsboro and Bobby Moore of Rule. He is also survived by four brothers and sisters.
