This photo of China, which I treasure, was given to me by her daughter, China Kaye (Walters) Bilbrey.

Mamie "China," the second of Sam & Lessie's Love children, was married to Edward Walters. She gave birth to twins in 1931 who died shortly after they were born.

Eight years later she gave birth to a daughter, whom they named China Kaye. "China" died four days later leaving Ed with a four day old infant.

Funeral Services To Be Held at Home, East of City.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Love Walters, wife of Edward Walters, are to be held at the family residence, 4 l/2 miles northeast of Ardmore, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Walter Teaague of Ardmore officiating. Interment wil be in Pruitt cemetery and Bettes Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers are to be L.A. Turner. T.W. Bennet, Tom Holloway, John Griffis, Victor Tennyson and Leonard Carlile.

Mrs. Walter, who was born in Wilson June 21, 1906, died at 6:30 a. m. Monday. She had lived all of her life in Carter county.

She is survived by her husband, an infant daughter, China, her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Love, Ardmore; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Love, Ardmore; five brothers, Roy, Sid, Woodrow, A C, and Herman Love and two sisters, Hazel and Juanita Love. She is also survived by eight uncles and five aunts."
