Memorial rites for Carl Wesley Allen, 18, of Rockville were held on October 15 at First Baptist Church in El Dorado Springs. He was the son of Richard and Erma Buckner Allen. He was born November 24, 1958 in Nevada, Missouri and died October 12, 1977 following an automobile accident near Appleton City.
Carl attended Sunday School and Bible School at the Mr. Zion Methodist Church near Rockville. He was a 1977 graduate of Appleton City High School and had been a recent employee of Witt Printing Co., in El Dorado Springs.
Surviving are his parents; one brother, Rickie; four sisters, Effie, Sharon, Delores and Kathy; and many other relatives and friends.
Internment was in the Taberville Cemetery under the direction of Janssens Funeral Home.
