Verner G. Nelson, 65, of 3906 West Sixty-eighth terrace, Prairie Village, died yesterday at Baptist Memorial hospital. He was born in Marquette, Kas., and had lived in this area 41 years. Mr. Nelson was an employee of the former Hoover company, and Bartlett's Vacuum Cleaners 31 years and retired in 1966.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillian Nelson, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Frances Diane Duma, 2924 North Eighty-fourth, Kansas City, Kansas; a sister, Mrs. Ebba Anderson, 4328 Holly, and five grandchildren.

Services will be a 1:30 o'clock Wednesday at the Gibson-Butler chapel; burial in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel from 4 to 8 o'clock tonight.
