Rites conducted for Mrs. Lane

Funeral services were held today for Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Lane, 82, who died Monday at her home near Horntown.
W. C. Upchurch officiated at the rites at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel, and burial was in the Holdenville cemetery.
Mrs. Lane, born Feb. 23, 1878 In Taney County, Mo., came here from Sapulpa in 1911. Surviving are three sons, John, Paden; Sam,Dimmit, Tex.; Delbert, Pomona, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. J. O. (Ruth) Conley,Holdenville; Mrs. Lela Ponder, Detroit, Mich.; 33 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Bearers were Earl Moore, Dick Commeti, Marion Cox, Troy Woodrum, Vernon Yarberry and Walter Bailey.
