He was born Sept. 28, 1914, in the town of Stettin, the son of the late August and Louise (Bertha) Bahr.
He married Agnes Tank on June 15, 1940, in Wausau. She survives. He was a retired farmer. He also worked at Marathon Millwork and . Crestline until his retirement. He belonged to the Brotherhood of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors, besides his wife, include; three daughters, Sharlene (Roger) Hieronimus, Wausau, Sharon (Dan) Kautzman, Wausau, Sandra (Bruce) Seefeld, Merrill; and six grandchildren. He was . preceded in death by two sisters ; and four brothers.
