OBITUARY :
ARTHUR WILLINGTON SHOCKEY, 89, of 242 West Gravel Lane, died yesterday at Hampshire Memorial Hospital.

Born in Hampshire County, he was a son of the late Bass and Sally (Peters) Shockey. His wife, Tempie Lee (Hose) Shockey, died in 1972.

Mr. Shockey was a retired farmer.

Surviving are four sons, Sloan W. Shockey, LaVale, Md.; Guy B. Shockey, Sharpsburg, Md.; Frank J. Shockey, Glen Burnie, Md., and Dale W. Shockey, address unknown; four daughters, Mrs. Clara K. Hott, Mrs. Bernice L. Corbin, here; Mrs. Mildred V. Cook, Keyser, Mrs. Margaret L. Martin, Greencastle, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Bertie Malcolm, Moorefield; 33 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.

The body is at the Shaffer Funeral Home, where friends will be received from 1 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m.

A service will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Romney Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Charles S. Morris officiating. Interment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery. The body will be taken to the church at 1 p. m. Saturday.
