Saturday, March 14, 2009, at
St. Andrews Place in Conway.
She was born April 29, 1922,
in Cleveland, Arkansas, a daughter
of William Jefferson and
Pliney Mary Elizabeth (Branscum) Bryant.
She was the granddaughter of
Thomas and Sarah Ann (Garrison)
Bryant, and John Jackson
and Alice (Rose) Branscum.
Lillian was of the Jehovah's
Witness faith, Morrilton Congregation.
She was baptized
June 13, 1959, in La Porte, Indiana,
and she dedicated her life to her
ministry for Jehovah God in
Michigan and Arkansas. She
was a homemaker, farmer and
for many years in Buchanan,
Michigan, a dry cleaners' silk and
wool finisher.
Lillian and Leonard Noland
lived in Buchanan, Michigan, for
21 years before returning home
to Dutton Mountain, Middleton,
Ark., in 1970.
Lillian was preceded in death
by her husband, Leonard "Bay"
Noland, April 3, 1977. They
were married March 2, 1940, in
Morrilton.
She is survived by three children,
daughter, Wanda Sue
(Noland) Truhn Johnson of Dutton
Mountain, Center Ridge;
sons, Kenneth Darrell Noland
and wife Sheryl of Niles, Mich.,
and Leonard Noland and wife
Lisa of Conway; step-son,
Jimmy Lee Noland and wife
Murlene of Conway; five
grandsons, Kenneth Jr. Noland
and wife Mary Jane of North
Carolina, Brian Noland and Jeff
Noland and wife Jaime all of
Michigan, Steven Truhn of
Indiana, and Marc Truhn and
wife Cindy of Georgia; one
step-grandson, Randy Noland
and wife Fran of Bigelow; two
step-granddaughters, Susan
Noland, and Carol Martin and
husband James of Texas; eight
great-granddaughters, Kaitlynn,
Stephanie, Jenna, Jayla, Amber,
Paige, Megan and Ashley; 14
great-stepgrandchildren and
two great-great-step-grandchildren;
sisters and brother, Lillie
Marville Hearington and Willow
Dean Mangrum of Niles,
Mich., Bonnie Wilma McFarlin
of North Little Rock, Betty
Jewell Bland of Jonesboro, and
Johnnie Jefferson Bryant of
Crosby, Texas.
Funeral services were 2 p.m.
Tuesday, March 17, at the Harris
Chapel with Bro. James
Webber officiating. Burial was
at Middleton Cemetery by Harris
Funeral Home of Morrilton.
Pallbearers were Marc Truhn, Randy Noland,
Jonathan Noland, Joshua Noland,
Kenneth Jr Noland and Brandon Nelson.
