Peter Keizer Rites in Alton yesterday
Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian church in Alton for Peter Keizer, 76, at 1:30 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday).
Mr. Keizer farmed in Plymouth and Sioux counties before moving to Alton in 1937. Before his final illness he was employed fay the Co-op Oil Company and the Oordt Implement Company in Orange City.
He was married on March 12, 1912, to the former Tracy Sorgdrager. He is survived by three children - Mrs. Marshall (Dorothy) Rees of Le Mars; Mrs. Jerry (Ethel) Noack of Sheldon and Lewis of Sioux City brothers and sisters, Mrs. Gerrit Rensink and Bert Keizer of Orange City, Wesley, of LeMars and Gerbin of Lake Wales, Fla.
ihere are 12 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
