Junius "Jake" Martin Harmon, age 87, a native of Johns, AL, and resident of Fairhope, AL for the past 48 years, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at his residence. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and a retiree of Mercury Freight Lines. He is survived by his wife Emogene "Jean" Harmon of Fairhope, AL, Son: Terry (Sheila) Harmon of Lucedale, MS, Daughters: Celia Wallace of Mobile, AL and Cathe Steele of Silverhill, AL, Four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 20, 2009 at the family home place, 2984 Mud Creek Rd., Adger, AL. from 11:00AM until 1:30PM. Graveside services will follow at Mud Creek Cemetery at 2:00PM. The family would like to extend a special thanks and appreciation to Dr. Louie C. Wilson, Dr. Ken Ellingwood, Dr. Lee Irvin, Dr. Barry Booth and special nurses.
