West Weber, Nov. 22,

Vern Jay Blanch, 14 year-old son of Leonard E. and Adelia Tracy Blanch of West Weber, died Thursday at five-fifty p.m. at an Ogden hospital of heart and kidney complications. He had been ill about 18 months and had been in the hospital the past week.
Born May 27, 1926 in West Weber, he had lived there his entire life. He was a deacon in West Weber L.D.S. Ward, a member of the Ward Sunday school, a member of the West Weber Boy Scout troop and a member of the West Weber Four-H dairy club.
Surviving are his parents, four brothers, and one sister, Harold Dwayne, Claude, LARRY and Barbara Blanch; and Mr. and Mrs Charles Tracy of Marriott and Mr. and Mrs.C. C. Blanch of West Weber, grandparents.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at two p.m. In West Weber LDS Ward Chapel by Bishop George A. Heslop. Burial in West Weber cemetery will be directed by Lindquist &Sons mortuary of Ogden.
Friends may call at the Blanc home in West Weber Sunday and Monday until time of services.
