ASHBURY SHOWALTER

Ashbury Showalter, age 81, died after an illness of three weeks at the home of his daughter, Mrs. O. P. Cook, 119 South Ninth street, this morning at 3 o'clock. He was the father of John Alva Showalter of Danville, Ind., Mrs. John Bouslog, Kennard, Ind., I. R. Showalter, Knightstown, Ind., Mrs. O. P. Cook of this city and of Miss Ada D. Showalter, who died at Kennard a year ago.
The funeral will be held at the Christian church, Cadiz, Sunday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Neighbors and friends may call at the home of Mrs. Cook Friday afternoon and Saturday.

The funeral of Ashberry Showalter, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. O. P. Cook, on South Ninth street, Friday, was held at the Christian church at Cadiz Sunday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment took place at Cadiz.
