Mr. Oxford died Sunday at home after a long illness.
He was a native of Missouri and had lived at Adair for 33 years before coming here in 1948.
Survivors include the widow, Ada, of the home; two sons, Elmer Oxford, Pomona, Calif., Sylba Oxford, Wichita, Kansas; two daughters, Mrs. Daisy Blum, 2124 N Erie, and Mrs Rosetta Franklin, 7116 E Zion; four brothers, James Oxford, Foyil, Arthur Oxford, Gentry, Ark, McKinley Oxford, Pryor, and Sherman Oxford, Dawson, and two sisters, Mrs Mary Myers, San Francisco, Calif, and Josephine Conatzer, Dawson.
Interment will be in the Adair cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Harris funeral home, Pryor.
